This artist’s book plays with the layering of materials as a metaphor for the layers of one’s life. The images are often obscured under the crystal surface of the layered Mica while the text includes references to dreams, holidays, songs that carried me through the transition from a grieving widow to a single woman who might be able to find love again.
Size: Approx. 3″w x 5″h x 2″ d. Mica, found objects including time pieces & seashells, copper banding, Davey board, handmade papers, coptic stitching.
